A BIT MORE ABOUT ME 👨‍💻

I've spent my entire life in the Bay Area. I grew up in Cupertino and I'm a proud Eagle Scout. I enjoy reading, working out, photography, and picking up new skills (currently on a bit of a cooking whim). I like collecting lapel pins, flannels, and sneakers 👟

On the whole, I'm interested in embedded systems, product design, philosophy, and technology applications in high-impact verticals (construction, finance, space, climate change, healthcare, and security, to name a few) 🚀

BUILDING (AND BREAKING) STUFF 🛠

I'm keeping myself busy while sheltering-in-place this pandemic by working on several projects.

• Working as a research software engineering intern at Apple on the Health Software team.
• Conducted research in the Stanford Graphics Lab on machine learning based approaches for hardware optimization.
• Helping lead CS 342 / MED 253: Building for Digital Health in Winter 2020-2021.
• Developing CardinalKit, an open source platform for creating, managing, and scaling digital health apps, through the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign.
• Sourcing early-stage startups as a university venture partner at Contrary.

I've built a couple of things in the past as well, mostly in high school.

• Consulted on fullstack projects in the Stanford Radiology department.
• Built 3D neural nets to find tumerous regions within brain fMRIs at Berkeley AI Research.
• Designed an end-to-end deep learning system for postoperative wound assessment at the Palo Alto VA Hospital.
• Programmed a couple of apps which have reached the pockets of tens of thousands of cool people around the world.
